The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has just announced Open Effect as one of the funding recipients of its Community Investment Program.
CIRA’s grant will enable Open Effect to continue developing our Access My Info tool (AMI), which helps Canadians create legal requests for access to their personal data. Through this project, we will extend AMI to support filing requests to a variety of industries and government departments, and make it easy to support new industries and legal justifications in the future.
